About Us

At My Medical Services Maitland, our general practitioners are dedicated to give the best care to you and your family with the help of our administrative staff and nursing staff.

Our clinic is unique and we offer various services including general medicine, mental health, men’s health, women’s health, workplace medicals,  skin checks and cancer treatment, minor procedures, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and workplace medicals.

We offer special services including Skin Cancer detection.

We committed to quality improvement and is accredited with AGPAL. We are dedicated to promoting health, well being and disease prevention to all patients. We are a mixed billing practice, bulk billing for children less than 16yrs of age.

After Hours & Home Visits

After Hours healthcare is provided by After Hours GP – 1300 Dr To You on 02 49332094 and 1300 378696
Also, The Maitland Hospital, Maitland on 02 49392000
Home visits within our normal business hours are arranged under special arrangement and agreement with and at the discretion of treating doctor only.

Recall / Reminder System

A follow up appointment to discuss results and correspondence from specialist appointments is recommended. Please allow several days for pathology and radiology results to return. Urgent tests are usually available within 24 hours.

Telephone Policy

Most issues are best dealt with in consultation with your Doctor and he/she will endeavour to take your call where practicable.  Whilst in consultation with other patients, the doctors require the reception staff to take messages that will be dealt with at the end of the session, or where practicable.  Please advise the Reception Staff if the call is urgent.

Test Results & Referalls

Test results can be obtained in a booked consultation.
Referrals to specialists must be made during a consultation and will not be provided from a phone request.
 In unavoidable circumstances Doctors may provide repeat referrals or scripts, however this is done at the doctor’s discretion and may attract a fee.
